ACC approves extension of upgradation/down-gradation of JS & AS level posts

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Thursday approved the extension in upgradation/down-gradation of Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary rank posts.

They are ;

1. Extension in downgradation of the post of Additional Secretary to the level of Joint Secretary in the Direct Benefit Transfer Mission, Cabinet Secretariat, presently held Saurabh Kumar Tiwari (IP&TA&FS:93) for term upto 09.03.2022.
2. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, presently held by S.K. Dev Verman (IAS:1988:MN), for term upto 17.09.2021.
3. Extension in upgradation of the post of Director General, India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Dharmendra Sharma (IAS:1988:AGMUT) for term upto 11.04.2022.
4. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, presently held by Pankaj Jain (IAS:1990:AM), for term upto 08.04.2022.
5. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, presently held by Dharam Pal (IAS:1988:AGMUT), for term upto 12.04.2021.
6. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance, presently held by Dheeraj Bhatnagar (IRS-IT:1987), for term upto 09.04.2022.
7. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises presently held by Rajesh Kumar Chaudhry (IFoS:1987:PB), for term upto 09.04.2022.
8. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, presently held by Ms. Annie George Mathew (IA&AS:1988), for term upto 09.11.2021.
9. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, presently held by Ms. Meera Swarup (IA&AS:1988), for term upto 02.05.2022.
10. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, presently held by Arun Baroka (IAS:1990:AGMUT),for term upto 02.05.2022.
11. Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH, presently held, by Pramod Kumar Pathak (IFoS:1986:KL), for term upto 17.05.2022.
