ACC approves extension in upgradation of posts in various ministries

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday approved extension in upgradation of posts in various ministries.

1. The extension in upgradation of the post of CMD, National Mineral Development Corporation, Ministry of Steel from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by N Baijendra Kumar (IAS:1985:CG), has been given for a term upto 31.07.2020.
2. The extension in upgradation of the post of Chairman, Mumbai Port Trust, Ministry of Shipping from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Sanjay Bhatia (IAS:1985:MH), has been given for a term upto 31.07.2020.
3. The extension in upgradation of the post of CMD, Food Corporation of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by D.V. Prasad (IAS:1984:KN), has been given for a term upto 30.11.2020.
4. The extension in upgradation of the post of Secretary, 15th Finance Commission, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Arvind Mehta (IAS:1984:HP), has been given for a term upto 30.11.2020.
5. The extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Ayush, presently held by Pramod Kumar Pathak (IFoS:1987:KL), has been given for a term upto 30.06.2021.
6. The extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministy of Chemicals & Fertilizers, presently held by Dharam Pal (IAS:1988:UT), has been given for a term upto 12.10.2020.
7. The extension in upgradation of the post of Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Ms. Ansuli Arya (IAS:1989:BH), has been given for a term upto 20.07.2021.
8. The extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, presently held by S K Dev Verman (IAS:1988:MN), has been given for a term upto 17.03.2021.
9. The extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, presently held by Ms. Juthika Patankar (IAS:1988:UP), has been given for a term upto 01.07.2021.
10. The extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Steel, presently held by Ms Rasika Chaube (IDAS:1986), has been given for a term upto 08.07.2021.
