ACC approves extension for upgrading Director/ Joint Secretary posts to Additional Secretary

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Saturday (16.11.2024) approved the extension of upgradation for certain posts from the Director/Joint Secretary level to the rank of Additional Secretary.

They are;

1. Ms. Roli Singh (IAS:1994:RJ), currently Joint Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary until December 26, 2025.
2. Ms. Varsha Joshi (IAS:1995:AGMUT), currently Joint Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary until July 26, 2025.
3. Suman Billa (IAS:1996:KL), currently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary until December 12, 2025.
4. Manoj Kumar Dwivedi (IAS:1997:AGMUT) , currently Joint Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary until November 18, 2025.
5. Ashish Vachhani (IAS:1997:TN), currently Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary until November 20, 2025.
6. Rakesh Gupta (IAS:1997:HY), currently Joint Secretary in the President’s Secretariat, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary until November 18, 2025.
7. Rohit Kumar (IAS:1997:RJ), currently Director in the Cabinet Secretariat, has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Director to Additional Secretary until September 24, 2025.
8. Trishaljit Sethi (IPoS:1990), currently Director in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship as Director General (Training), has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Director to Additional Secretary until September 1, 2025.
9. Vismita Tej (IRS-IT:1990), currently Joint Director in the Ministry of Coal as Director General (Training), has received an extension in the upgradation of his post from the level of Director to Additional Secretary until September 23, 2025.
