ACC approves appointments of 12 officers at Joint Secretary level

In a major administrative rejig on Monday (06.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a number of appointments of officers at the Joint Secretary/ Joint Secretary equivalent level posts in various departments.

In a major administrative rejig on Monday (06.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a number of appointments of officers at the Joint Secretary/ Joint Secretary equivalent level posts in various departments.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Garima Srivastava (IRPS:1999) has been appointed as Secretary of the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board under the Department of Agricultural Research & Education for a tenure of five years.
  2. P Hemalatha (IAS:2000:KN) has been appointed as Development Commissioner, Cochin Special Economic Zone, Cochin under the Department of Commerce, for a tenure of five years by upgrading the post from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
  3. Ms. Palka Sahni (IAS:2004:BH) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, for a tenure of five years.
  4. Ms. Aradhana Patnaik (lAS:1998:JH) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for a tenure of five years.
  5. Ms. Mukta Shekhar (IRAS:1994) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries for a tenure of five years.
  6. Anil Subramaniam (CSS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, for a tenure of five years.
  7. Kamal Kishore Soan (IAS:1998:JH) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, for a tenure of five years
  8. Nitin Kumar Shivdas Khade (lAS:2004:AM) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Land Resources, for a tenure of five years.
  9. Vinod Kumar Nanukuttan (IPoS:1994) has been appointed as Chairperson, Mormugao Port Authority, Goa under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, for a tenure up to his superannuation on 31/05/2027.
  10. Ms. Himani Pande (IAS:1998:JH) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, for a tenure of five years.
  11. Ms. Tanuja Thakur Khalkho (IRAS:1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Rural Development, for a tenure up to her superannuation on 30/09/2027.
  12. Ms. Amarpreet Duggal (IPoS:1999) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years.
