ACC approves appointment of a Railway Board Member and Four GMs

In a significant development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has cleared Railway Board Member and GM appointments. One officer has been appointed as a Member of the Railway Board at Level 17 (Apex Scale), while four officers have been appointed as General Managers at Level 16 posts.

They are;

(Level 17 post)

1. Hitendra Malhotra, GM, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Chittaranjan, has been appointed as Member (Operations & Business Development) (O&BD), Railway Board.

(Level 16 posts)

2. Vijay Kumar, PCME/North Western Railway, has been appointed as General Manager (GM), Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Chittaranjan.
3. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, PED (INFRA)/RDSO, has been appointed as General Manager, Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE), Prayagraj.
4. Tarun Prakash, PED (S&T)/DEV/Railway Board, has been appointed as General Manager, South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur.
5. Mukul Saran Mathur has been appointed as General Manager, South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi.
