ACC appoints 7 CVOs in ITI, DoT, RINL, SAIL, PFC, IOCL and BEL; most for 3 years, IOCL CVO till Sept 2028.

Chief Vigilance Officer

The central government has approved the appointment of seven Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in key public sector undertakings and government departments, including ITI, Department of Telecommunications (DoT), SAIL, IOCL and BEL.

According to an official order, six officers have been appointed for an initial tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. One officer has been appointed for a tenure up to September 15, 2028.

The appointments are as follows:

  1. Babji Patchilla (IOFS:1998) has been appointed as CVO, Indian Telephone Industries Ltd. (ITI), Bengaluru.
  2. Dalip Singh Bhadauria (IOFS:2002) has been appointed as CVO, Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Delhi.
  3. Trinadh Kumar Goriparti (IFoS:2002:AGMUT) has been appointed as CVO, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL), Visakhapatnam.
  4. Dilip Kumar (IRSME:2002) has been appointed as CVO, Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), Delhi.
  5. Rajesh Kumar Singh (IRSS:2002) has been appointed as CVO, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Delhi.
  6. Shailendra Singh (IFoS:1997:TR) has been appointed as CVO, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), Delhi, for a tenure up to September 15, 2028.
  7. Saravanan Mannai Pathakkam (IPoS:2000) has been appointed as CVO, Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), Bengaluru.
