The deputation tenure of Abhishek Narang (IRS-IT:2008) as Private Secretary to Chirag Paswan, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, has been extended for six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (November 21, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to continue Narang’s deputation beyond December 31, 2025, or until further orders.
Narang has been serving as Private Secretary to Chirag Paswan since July 2024.
