Abhay Kumar (IFS: 2003) was on Monday (09.12.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Georgia. Presently, he is serving as Deputy Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Abhay Kumar (IFS: 2003), presently Deputy Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Georgia.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.” the statement added.
