A Muthukumar appointed PS to NITI Aayog VC Suman K Bery

A Muthukumar (IAS: 2009: JH) has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Dr Suman K Bery, Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (27.02.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment with effect from the date he assumes charge. His tenure will last until December 4, 2027, or will be co-terminus with the tenure of the Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Additionally, the government has regularized the period A Muthukumar spent serving as Private Secretary to the Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog, effective from July 16, 2024.
