The Modi government on Friday appointed Anil Kumar Jain (IAS:1986:MP) as Secretary, Ministry of Coal. He is presently the Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. Jain replaces Sumanta Chaudhuri (IAS:1985:WB).
