The Supreme Court Collegium is learnt to have recommended four high court judges for appointment to the apex court.
The collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has recommended the names of Justices V Ramasubramanian, Krishna Murari, S Ravindra Bhat and Hrishikesh Roy have been recommended for elevation, sources said. The list, though, will need the government’s approval.
Justice V Ramasubramanian is the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Murari is the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice S Ravindra Bhatt is the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court and Justice Hrishikesh Roy is the Chief Justice of Kerala High.
