Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, following the resignation of Chief Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi.
Chief Justice AK Tripathi relinquished his charge of the office after he was appointed as member (Judicial) of the Lokpal. Consequently, the duties of the Chief Justice have been transferred to the next senior-most judge of the High Court, Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra.
