New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has invited applications for the post of Director (Operations, Research & Development), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).
According to a vacancy notification issued on October 8, 2026, eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the PESB portal by 3:00 PM on October 29, 2026.
Applications of candidates, except those employed in private sector companies, are required to be forwarded to the PESB by the concerned Nodal Officer, Head of Organisation, Competent Authority, Administrative Secretary or Cadre Controlling Authority by 5:00 PM on November 9, 2026.
The post will effectively replace or restructure the portfolio currently managed under the Engineering, Research & Development (E, R&D) wing. The current Director (E, R&D), SM Ramanathan, is scheduled to superannuate on January 31, 2027, with the revised board responsibilities taking effect from February 1, 2027.
