Odisha govt transfers four IPS officers; Saravana Vivek M posted as DCP Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday (September 22, 2026) transferred and posted four IPS officers across the state.

Dr Saravana Vivek M (IPS:2015:OR), Superintendent of Police, Brahmapur, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bhubaneswar. He will replace Jagmohan Meena (IPS:2013:OR), whose voluntary retirement (VRS) was recently accepted by the state and central governments.

Abhinav Sonkar (IPS:2019:OR), SP, Dhenkanal, has been transferred and posted as SP, Brahmapur.

AB Silpa (IPS:2021:OR), presently serving as Assistant SP at State Police Headquarters, has been posted as SDPO, Baragada.

Mane Ajinkya Baburao (IPS:2022:OR), Additional SP, Paradeep, has been transferred and posted as SP, Dhenkanal.
