MHA transfers two IAS, two IPS officers to Arunachal Pradesh

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday (September 19, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS and two IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre, transferring all four officers to Arunachal Pradesh.

The IAS officers transferred are Neeraj Semwal (IAS:2003:AGMUT), Secretary-cum-Divisional Commissioner, Revenue Department, Delhi, and Ravi Jha (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, New Delhi.

Among the IPS officers, Vikramjit Singh (IPS:2006:AGMUT), Joint Commissioner of Police, ACB, Delhi Police, has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. Abhishek Dhania (IPS:2012:AGMUT), who is presently on central deputation as DIG in the ITBP, has also been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh.

The latest orders are part of the ongoing movement of AGMUT-cadre officers to Arunachal Pradesh. Notably, the MHA had on September 3, 2026, transferred three AGMUT-cadre IAS officers from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh.

The three officers were Mohd Aijaz (IAS:2012:AGMUT), Harvinder Singh (IAS:2019:AGMUT) and Shishir Gupta (IAS:2020:AGMUT).
