Senior IAS officer Vikram Dev Dutt (IAS:1993:AGMUT), Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (August 21, 2026), the competent authority has approved assignment of the additional charge from August 23 to August 29, 2026, during the period of absence on leave of Neeraj Mittal (IAS:1992:TN).
