UP govt reshuffles 15 IPS officers; new Police Commissioners for Lucknow, Prayagraj

Lucknow: In a major reshuffle in the police administration, the Uttar Pradesh Government has transferred 15 IPS officers, appointing Amrendra K Sengar as Director General (DG), Intelligence with additional charge of DG, Security, Anand Sureshrao Kulkarni as Secretary, Home, Tarun Gaba as Commissioner of Police, Lucknow, and Piyush Mordia as Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Mutha Ashok Jain (IPS:1995), DG/ADG, Gorakhpur Zone, has been transferred and posted as DG, Fire and Emergency Services, Hqrs, Lucknow.
2. Amrendra K Sengar (IPS:1995), Commissioner of Police, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as DG, Intelligence with additional charge of DG, Security.
3. Ram Kumar (IPS:1995), ADG, Logistics, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as ADG, Gorakhpur Zone, Gorakhpur.
4. Naveen Arora (IPS:1997), ADG, Technical Services, has been transferred and posted as ADG, Varanasi Zone, Varanasi.
5. Piyush Mordia (IPS:1998), ADG, Varanasi Zone, Varanasi, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj.
6. Bhagwan S Srivastava (IPS:1998), ADG, Intelligence, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as ADG, Technical Services, Lucknow.
7. Dr Sanjeev Gupta (IPS:1999), ADG, UP PHQ, Lucknow, has been given additional charge of ADG, Logistics, Lucknow.
8. Tarun Gaba (IPS:2001), ADG, Security, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Lucknow.
9. Dharmvir (IPS:2002), IG, Home Guards, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as IG, PAC East Zone, Prayagraj.
10. Mohit Gupta (IPS:2006), Secretary, Home, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as IG, Anti Corruption Organisation, Lucknow.
11. Vinod Kumar Singh (IPS:2007), IG, Dr Bheemrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Moradabad, has been transferred and posted as IG, Special Investigation.
12. Jogendra Kumar (IPS:2007), Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj, has been transferred and posted as IG, PTC, Moradabad.
13. Anand Sureshrao Kulkarni (IPS:2008), IG, Anti Corruption Organisation, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Home, Lucknow.
14. Anup Kumar Singh (IPS:2014), SP, Attached to Office of DGP, has been transferred and posted as SP, EOW. Lucknow.
15. Anand Kumar (IPS:2015), SP, Attached to Office of DGP, has been transferred and posted as SP, Public Grievance, Office of DGP, Lucknow.
