IAS officer Jeevan Babu K (IAS:2011:KL) has been appointed Director in the Department of Sports, Delhi, for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (July 20, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years, whichever is earlier.
Jeevan Babu K is currently serving as Special Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Kerala. He will take up the new assignment after being relieved by the state government.
