PESB recommends Anand for BCCL Director (Technical) post

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Anand for appointment as Director (Technical), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL).

The recommendation was made during the PESB selection meeting held on Tuesday (June 23, 2026). Anand is currently serving as Executive Director (Mining/Production), Coal India Limited.

Following the recommendation, his name will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval. The appointment will be subject to vigilance clearance and completion of other prescribed formalities.

A total of nine candidates appeared before the PESB selection panel. There were;

7. Ranjay Sinha, General Manager, Dhori Area, Central Coalfields Limited
8. B Anbuchelvan, Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer, NLC India Limited
9. S Rajmohan, Executive Director / SME, Conveyor, Transport, Long Term Mine Planning & Mine-3, NIC India Limited
