Maharashtra transfers 12 IAS officers; Vijay Singhal appointed OSD for Dharavi Redevelopment

The Maharashtra government on Monday carried out a reshuffle in the bureaucracy and transferred 12 IAS officers, bringing changes across key departments and organisations including CIDCO, MMRDA, MIDC, Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation and National Health Mission.

The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:

1. Vijay Singhal (IAS:1997:MH), Vice Chairman and Managing Director (VCMD), CIDCO, Mumbai, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty, Dharavi Redevelopment Project, Mumbai.
2. Prajkta Verma (IAS:2001:MH) has been posted as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai.
3. P Velrasu (IAS:2002:MH), Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Forest), Revenue and Forest Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
4. Dr Ashwini Joshi (IAS:2006:MH), Additional Municipal Commissioner, Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, Mumbai.
5. Deependra Singh Kushwah (IAS:2006:MH), Development Commissioner (Industries), Directorate of Industries, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Mumbai.
6. Ashwin Mudgal (IAS:2007:MH), Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman and Managing Director (VCMD), CIDCO, Mumbai.
7. Dr Kadambari Balkawade (IAS:2010:MH), Commissioner (Family Welfare) and Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Development Commissioner (Industries), Directorate of Industries, Mumbai.
8. Sanjay Katkar (IAS-SCS:2014), Managing Director, Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner (Family Welfare) and Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Mumbai.
9. Zenith Chandra Donthula (IAS:2022:MH), Project Officer, ITDP, Kinwat and Assistant Collector, Kinwat Sub Division, Nanded, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Gondia.
10. Anay Navandar (IAS:2022:MH), Project Officer, ITDP, Taloda and Assistant Collector, Taloda Sub Division, Nandurbar, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Akola.
11. Dr B Saravanan (IAS:2022:MH), Assistant Collector, Bhokhardan Sub Division, Jalna, has been transferred and posted as Project Officer, ITDP, Kinwat and Assistant Collector, Kinwat Sub Division, Nanded.
12. Laghima Tiwari (IAS:2023:MH), Assistant Collector, Gondprpri Sub Division, Chandrapur, has been transferred and posted as Project Officer, ITDP, Taloda and Assistant Collector, Taloda Sub Division, Nandurbar.
