Swapnil Agrawal appointed Director in Department of Financial Services

Swapnil Agrawal (IDAS:2011) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Financial Services (DFS).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (May 30, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the recommendation of the Civil Services Board (CSB) for his appointment to the post.

Agrawal will hold the position from the date of assuming charge and up to April 20, 2029 (i.e. combined tenure of seven years on CSS & non-CSS posts put together), or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
