Delhi Police Reshuffle: 9 IPS officers transferred, Neeraj Thakur & DC Srivastava moved to Law & Order

The Delhi Government on Wednesday (May 13, 2026) ordered a major reshuffle in Delhi Police in which nine IPS officers have been transferred and posted to new assignments with immediate effect.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Neeraj Thakur (IPS:1994:AGMUT), Special CP, Traffic Division, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Law & Order Division Zone-II.
2. Devesh Chandra Srivastava (IPS:1995:AGMUT), Special CP, Crime Division (Additional Charge of Perception Management & Media Cell Division), has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Law & Order Division Zone-I.
3. David Lalrinsanga (IPS:1995:AGMUT), Special CP, Operations (PCR & Communication) with additional charge of SPUNER, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Operations (PCR & Communication) with additional charge of SPUWAC & SPUNER.
4. Manish Kumar Agarwal (IPS:1996:AGMUT), Special CP, Intelligence Division with additional charge of Public Transport Safety Division, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Traffic Division.
5. Ajay Chaudhry (IPS:1996:AGMUT), Special CP, Vigilance Division with additional charge of SPUWAC, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Protective Security Division.
6. Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal (IPS:1997:AGMUT), who was on arrival, has been posted as Special CP, Crime Division with additional charge of Perception Management & Media Cell & Legal Division.
7. Atul Katiyar (IPS:1997:AGMUT), Special CP, Welfare Division with additional charge of Licensing & Legal Division, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Vigilance Division with additional charge of Welfare and Licensing Division.
8. Vijay Kumar (IPS:1997:AGMUT), Special CP, Armed Police, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Armed Police with Additional Charge of Public Transport Safety Division.
9. K Jegadesan (IPS:1998:AGMUT), Special CP, Protective Security Division with additional charge of MD/DPHCL, has been transferred and posted as Special CP, Intelligence Division with additional charge of MD/DPHCL.
