IAS officer Fating Rahul Haridas (IAS:2012:MP) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Minister for Panchayati Raj and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (April 2, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post for five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever occurs the earliest.
His appointment pertains specifically to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, and he will assume charge of the post at the Director level.
