Puspendra Singh (ISS:2013), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 28, the competent authority has approved the proposal of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to repatriate him to his parent cadre on personal grounds with the provision of extended cooling-off.
He has been serving in the position since February 2024.
His central deputation tenure began on June 11, 2023, when he was appointed as Private Secretary to Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh.
However, he was later placed on compulsory wait and subsequently assigned his current responsibilities in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
