UPSC Journey & Career Details

Khushboo Gupta first cleared the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination in 2018 with an All India Rank of 223.

Determined to improve her performance, she appeared again in the examination and secured All India Rank 80 in 2019, earning a place in the IAS.

Administrative Career

After joining the service, Gupta was allotted the Bihar cadre and began her field training as Assistant Collector in Muzaffarpur in May 2020. She later served as Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) in Munger from September 2021.

Following her cadre transfer to Telangana in August 2022, she served in several administrative roles including Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA). She also worked as Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Nalgonda and later held the same position in Adilabad.

In February 2026, the Government of Telangana appointed her as Collector and District Magistrate of Mahabubnagar.
