IPS officer Deepak Hilori (IPS:2011:PB) has been appointed as Director, Vigilance (Police) in the Railway Board in the DIG grade. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, his appointment is on a deputation basis on the usual terms, effective from the date he assumes charge of the post. The tenure will be for the remaining period of his central deputation, that is, up to December 25, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Hilori is currently serving as Zonal Director in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), a position he has held since December 26, 2023. He was appointed to the post for a tenure of five years.
