Raj Kamal (YOA: 2009) was on Monday (September 22, 2025) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the State of Eritrea. He is currently serving as Consulate General of India, Milan and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Raj Kamal (YOA: 2009), presently posted in Consulate General of India, Milan, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the State of Eritrea.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
