LVS Sudhakar Babu selected as MD of SMFCL

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has selected Lagadapati Venkata Srinivasa Sudhakar Babu for appointment as Managing Director, Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited (SMFCL), in a meeting held on August 13, 2025. He is currently serving as Executive Director, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO).

Following the selection, the PESB has recommended his name to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval. His appointment will be subject to the receipt of necessary vigilance clearances and the ACC’s nod.
