UP: Five IPS officers shifted; Shivasimpi Channappa posted as DIG, Gorakhpur Range

The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday (29.05.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 5 IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Anand Suresh Rao Kulkarni (IPS:2008:UP), DIG, Gorakhpur Range, Gorakhpur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Technical Services, Hqrs, Lucknow.
2. Shivasimpi Channappa (IPS:2009:UP), Additional Police Commissioner (Law & Order), Police Commissionerate, Varanasi, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Gorakhpur Range, Gorakhpur.
3. Dinesh Kumar P (IPS:2009:UP), DIG, Basti Range, Basti, has been relieved for the central deputation.
4. Sanjeev Tyagi (IPS:2009:UP), DIG, Prisons Administration & Reform Services, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Basti Range, Basti.
5. Shivhari Meena (IPS-SPS:2010), DIG, Technical Services, Hqrs, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as Additional Police Commissioner (Law & Order), Police Commissionerate, Varanasi.
