New Delhi, May 22, 2025: Anwesh Kumar Aileni (IRSME:2013) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) under the Department of Commerce for a tenure of four years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Mr. Aileni’s appointment under the central staffing scheme, effective from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, this Deputy Secretary position was created by downgrading one of the vacant posts of Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (ADGFT) in DGTR.
