Senior diplomat Rajeev Kumar (IFS: 2001) has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. Presently, he is serving as DDG, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Rajeev Kumar (IFS: 2001), presently DDG, ICCR, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
