Retired IAS officer Raghav Chandra appointed Professor of Practice at IIM Calcutta

Retired IAS officer Raghav Chandra (Retd. IAS:1982:MP) has been appointed as Professor of Practice at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, under the Academic Group of Public Policy and Management.

Retired IAS officer Raghav Chandra (Retd. IAS:1982:MP) has been appointed as Professor of Practice at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, under the Academic Group of Public Policy and Management.

Chandra brings a wealth of administrative experience to the role, having held key positions such as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes; Chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI); and Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs.

An alumnus of the University of Delhi, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 and completed his Master of Science in 1980. In 1998, he pursued a Master of Public Administration at Harvard University, where he was awarded the prestigious Japan-World Bank Merit Scholarship. Over the years, he has held senior positions in various departments of the Union and State governments.
