Surendra Prasad Pant, retired Director, Central Secretariat Service, has been appointed as Private Secretary to Jitan Ram Manjhi, Minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (07.02.2025), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Pant to the post co-terminus basis with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He will assume the charge of the post at Director level.
