AP: 25 IAS officers shifted, G Sai Prasad designated as Spl CS to CM

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Monday (20.01.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 25 IAS officers. Notably, G Sai Prasad has been appointed as the Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. G Sai Prasad (IAS:1991:AP), Special Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department, has been re-designated as Special Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department and Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to Chief Minister.
2. Ajay Jain (IAS:1991:AP), Special Chief Secretary, Housing Department, has been placed in full additional charge of the post of Special Chief Secretary, Tourism & Culture.
3. Budithi Rajsekhar (Retd IAS), Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Sericulture, Cooperation and Marketing, has been placed in full additional charge of the post of Special Chief Secretary to Government, AHDD&F Department.
4. K Sunitha (IAS:1996:AP), Principal Secretary (H&T), Industries and Commerce, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises Department with full additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government(H&T) Industries and Commerce.
5. Dr G Vani Mohan (IAS:1996:AP), Principal Secretary, (GPM&AR), General Administration Department, has been placed in full additional charge of the post of Commissioner Archeology & Museums.
6. Peeyush Kumar (IAS:1997:AP), Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Principal Finance Secretary with full additional charge of Principal Secretary, Planning Department.
7. Mukesh Kumar Meena (IAS:1998:AP), Principal Secretary, Revenue(Excise) Department, is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, General Administration Department (Political) with full additional charge of GA(Services) Department.
8. S Suresh Kumar (IAS:2000:AP), Principal Secretary, Infrastructure & Investment Department, is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, MA&UD Department.
9. Saurabh Gaur (IAS:2002:AP), on return from leave, has been posted as Commissioner Civil Supplies & Ex officio Secretary.
10. Kona Sasidhar (IAS:2003:AP), Secretary, School Education, is placed in full additional charge of the posts of Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department and Secretary, Skill Development Department.
11. Bhaskar Katamneni (IAS:2004:AP), Commissioner, CRDA, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, ITC&E Department and also placed in full additional charge of the posts of Secretary RTGS and Grama Sachivlaam, Ward Sachivalayam (GSWS) and Commissioner School Infra.
12. V Karuna (IAS:2005:AP), Commissioner, Health and Family Welfare, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination for Rural Poverty( SERP) & Ex
    Officio Secretary.
13. Dr N Yuvaraj (IAS:2005:AP), Secretary, Industries and Commerce, is placed in full additional charge of Secretary, Infrastructure & Investment Department.
14. Mudavatu M Nayak (IAS:2005:AP), Secretary, AHDD&F Dept., has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Social Welfare Department with full additional charge of Tribal Welfare Department.
15. Pravin Kumar (IAS:2006:AP), Commissioner and Director, Mines & Geology, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Industries & Commerce (Mining) Department with full additional charge of MD, APMDC.
16. Kanna Babu (IAS:2006:AP), Secretary, Social Welfare Department, is transferred and posted as Commissioner CRDA.
17. MV Seshgiri Babu (IAS:2006:AP), IG Registration and Stamps, is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Labour .
18. S Satyanarayana (IAS:2012:AP), Commissioner Endowments, is transferred and posted as Secretary, BC Welfare Department with full additional charge of Secretary, EWS Welfare Department.
19. Vadarevu Vinay Chand (IAS:2008:AP), Secretary (Tourism and Culture), Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture Department is transferred and posted as Secretary, Revenue (Endowments) Department with full additional charge of Secretary, Youth Advancement and Sports, Department.
20. G Veerapandian (IAS:2009:AP), CEO, SERP, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Health &Family Welfare & MD NHM.
21. Hari Narayanan (IAS:2011:AP), Director, Municipal Administration, is transferred and posted as IG Registration and Stamps.
22. Girisha PS (IAS:2012:AP), Vice Chairman & Managing Director (VC&MD), Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of HM&FW Dept., for posting him as VC&MD, APMSIDC with full addition charge of VC&MD, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh
23. Pattanshetti Ravi Subash (IAS:2013:AP), Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), CPDCL, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of HM&FW Dept., for posting him as CEO , NTR Vaidya Seva Trust.
24. P Sampath Kumar (IAS:2009:AP), Municipal Commissioner, Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal corporation, is transferred and posted as CDMA.
25. V Abishek (IAS:2020:AP), Project Officer, ITDA, Paderu, is transferred and posted as Project Administrator, Polavaram LA&(RR).
