Odisha: 5 IAS officers shifted; Arindam Dakua moved out of CMO

The Odisha government on Thursday (02.01.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers. A key highlight of the reshuffle is the transfer of Arindam Dakua from the Chief Minister’s Office.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. NBS Rajput (IAS:1999:OR), Principal Secretary to Governor, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises Department.
2. Temjenwapang Ao (IAS:2000:OR), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Public Enterprises Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department.
3. Bhupendra Singh Poonia (IAS:2008:OR), Managing Director, IPICOL with additional charge of Special Secretary, Industries Department and Managing Director, IDCO, has been given additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Skill Development & Technical Education Department.
4. Prem Chandra Chaudhary (IAS:2010:OR), Director, Agriculture & Food Production, with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Agro Industries Cooperation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Textiles & Handlooms.
5. Arindam Dakua (IAS:2011:OR), Private Secretary, Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Director, Municipal Administration & Ex-officio Additional Secretary, Housing & Urban Development.
