Arun Kumar Sahu appointed India’s envoy to Bulgaria

Senior diplomat Arun Kumar Sahu (IFS: 1996) was on Wednesday (18.12.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Bulgaria. Currently, he is serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and is expected to take up the assignment shortly

In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Arun Kumar Sahu (IFS: 1996), presently Additional Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Bulgaria.”

“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.” the statement added.
