Finance Ministry reshuffles Principal CCIT grade officers

In a significant reshuffle, the Ministry of Finance on Saturday (14.12.2024) announced transfer orders for Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax grade officers. As part of the changes, three officers have been assigned new postings:

1. Nav Ratan Soni has been posted as Principal CCIT, NER, Guwahati.
2. Purushottam Tripuri has been posted as Principal CCIT, MP & Chhattisgarh, Bhopal.
3. Satish Sharma has been posted as Principal CCIT, Gujarat, Ahmedabad.

Notably, on Friday (13.12.2024), the post of Principal CCIT, NER, Guwahati, was assigned as an additional charge to KM Dixit, who is currently serving as Principal CCIT, West Bengal & Sikkim, Kolkata. However, within 24 hours, this additional charge has now been reassigned to Nav Ratan Soni.

Friday’s order also included additional responsibilities for two other officers:

1. Sanjay Bahadur, Principal DGIT (Training), Delhi, has been assigned additional charge of Principal DGIT (HRD), Delhi.
2. Shelley Jindal, Principal CCIT, Karnataka & Goa, Bengaluru, has been assigned additional charge of Principal CCIT, Gujarat, Ahmedabad.
