MP: Two senior IPS officers shifted; UK Jain posted as DGP, EOW

The Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday (04.12.2024) issued transfer orders for two IAS officers. Senior IAS officer Ajay Kumar Sharma (IPS:1989:MP), currently serving as DGP of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), has been transferred and posted as the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation (MPPHIDC) with additional charge of Managing Director of MPPHIDC.

Meanwhile, Upendra Kumar Jain (IPS:1991:MP), Special DGP/Managing Director, MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation, has been posted as the DGP of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
