UP: 10 IAS officers shifted, Manoj Singh placed on waiting list

The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday (10.11.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IAS officers. The most significant charge was shifting of senior IAS officer Manoj Singh from the Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change and placing him on waiting list.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Dr. Raj Shekhar (IAS:2004:UP), MD, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Rural); Secretary, Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply Department; State Nodal Officer, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana and MD, UP Bhumi Sudhar Nigam, has been transferred and posted as MD, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Rural).
2. Anil Garg (IAS:1996:UP), Principal Secretary, irrigation and Water Resources Department, Parti Bhumi Vikas Department, Prison Administration & Reform Services and Chairman, PACT, has been given additional charge of State Nodal Officer, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana and MD, UP Bhumi Sudhar Nigam.
3. Manoj Singh (IAS:1989:UP), Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, has been transferred and placed on the waiting list.
4. Anil Kumar-III (IAS:1998:UP), Principal Secretary, Labour & Employment Department and Geology & Mining Department, has been given additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change.
5. Ravi Ranjan (IAS:2014:UP), MD, UP State Tourism Development Corporation; MD, U.P. Electronics Ltd and Director, UP Agro, has been transferred and posted as MD, U.P. Electronics Ltd.
6. Sanya Chhabra (IAS:2019:UP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as MD, UP State Tourism Development Corporation.
7. Prranata Aishwarya (IAS:2019:UP), Special Secretary, Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply Department and MD, UP Jal Nigam (Rural), has been transferred and posted as Director, UP Agro.
8. Prabhash Kumar (IAS:2017:UP), Special Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies and Controller, Legal Metreology, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department and Joint MD of Jal Nigam (Rural).
9. Udai Bhanu Tripathi (IAS-SCS:2011), Special Secretary, UP Housing & Urban Planning Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Urban Development Department.
10. Dr. Kanchan Saran (IAS-SCS:2013), Additional Commissioner, Agra, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, State Women Commission.
