The Telangana High Court on Wednesday (16.10.204) refused to stay the Center’s order over the cadre allocation of 5 IAS officers to the other Telugu state. This marks the second setback for the officers in two days. Earlier, four Telangana IAS officers had approached the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), seeking a stay on the Centre’s decision to send them back to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. Additionally, one IAS officer from Andhra Pradesh had appealed against being attached to the Telangana cadre. However, CAT also denied any relief, instructing them to comply with the DoPT’s directions until further orders.
