The deputation tenure of Hemant Kumar Meena (IFoS:2011:MH) as Deputy Secretary in NITI Aayog has been extended for one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.10.2024), the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of NITI Aayog to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Meena beyond August 4, 2024 and up to August 4, 2026 (i.e. a combined tenure of 7 years outside the cadre at a stretch).
