UP: 24 PPS officers promoted to IPS cadre

The Uttar Pradesh government has promoted 24 PPS officers to the IPS cadre. During the meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), the names of 30 PPS officers were considered, out of which 24 were selected for promotion to IPS.

All the promoted officers belong to the 1995 and 1996 PPS batches. The meeting was attended by officers from the Union Public Service Commission, the Chief Secretary, the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), and the DGP.

They are;

4. Mohd. Irfan Ansari (1994 batch)
5. Ajay Pratap (1994 batch)

9. Rakesh Kumar Singh (1995 batch)
