In a significant development, the Kerala government on Tuesday (10.09.2024) implemented major changes in the police administration by issuing transfer and posting orders for 10 IPS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- CH Nagaraju (IPS:2003:KL), IG, Crime, Ernakulam, has been transferred and posted as Transport Commissioner.
- A Akbar (IPS:2005:KL), who was earlier appointed as Transport Commissioner but did not assume the charge, has been posted as IG, Crime, Ernakulam.
- S Syamsundar (IPS:2005:KL), Commissioner of Police, Kochi City, has been transferred and posted as IG, South Zone with full additional charge of MD, Kerala Police Housing and Construction Corporation (KPHCC).
- Jayanath J (IPS:2007:KL), MD, Kerala Police Housing and Construction Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Protection of Civil Rights.
- Putta Vimaladitya (IPS:2008:KL), DIG, ATS, has been transferred and posted DIG and Commissioner of Police, Kochi City. He will also hold the full additional charge of the post of DIG, ATS.
- Thomson Jose (IPS:2009:KL), DIG, Thrissur Range, will hold the additional charge of DIG Ernakulam Range.
- Hari Shankar (IPS:2011:KL), SP, Cyber Operations, will also hold the full additional charge of AIG, Personnel.
- J Himendranath (IPS:2012:KL), SP, Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau (VACB), Ernakulam, has been transferred and posted as SP, Crime Branch, Kottayam.
- S Sasidharan (IPS:2015:KL), SP, Malappuram, has been transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau (VACB), Ernakulam.
- Viswanadh R (IPS:2016:KL), has been posted as SP, Malappuram.
