Ashish Kumar (IAS:2005:TN), Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (08.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to repatriate Ashish Kumar to his parent cadre with imposition of extended cooling off.
