The Union government on Wednesday (03.07.2024) notified appointment of Justice Muhamed Mustaque Ayumantakath as the Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court effective from July 5. This follows the retirement of the incumbent Chief Justice Ashish Jitendra Desai, which is scheduled for July 4, 2024.
Justice Mustaque, currently the senior-most judge at the Kerala High Court, has been designated to assume the responsibilities of Chief Justice.
