IAS Amit Kishore appointed PS to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

IAS officer Amit Kishore (IAS:2011:UP) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (01.07.2024), the competent authority approved the proposal to appoint Amit Kishore to the post for five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest.
