UP: 11 ADGP level officers among 16 IPS officers transferred; Lucknow & Prayagraj get new Commissioners

The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday (21.06.2024) enacted a significant change in police administration by issuing transfer orders for 16 IPS officers, which includes 11 ADG-level officers. Notably, the Police Commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj have been replaced.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Prem Chandra Meena (IPS:1991:UP), ADGP, Bareilly Zone, Bareilly, has been transferred and posted as ADGP/CMD, UP Police Housing Corporation.
2. SB Shirodkar (IPS:1993:UP), Police Commissioner, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Lucknow Zone, Lucknow.
3. Binod Kumar Singh (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, waiting for posting orders after return from central deputation, has been posted as ADGP, Cyber Crime.
4. Prakash D (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP/CMD, UP Police Housing Corporation, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Railway.
5. Jai Narayan Singh (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, Railway, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, PTC, Sitapur.
6. LV Antony Dev Kumar (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, Special Security Force, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, CB-CID.
7. Amrendra Kumar Sengar (IPS:1995:UP), ADGP, Lucknow Zone, has been transferred and posted as Police Commissioner, Lucknow.
8. Raghubir Lal (IPS:1997:UP), ADGP, Security, has been given additional charge of ADGP, Special Security Force.
9. K Satyanarayan (IPS:1998:UP), ADGP, CB-CID, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Traffic and Road Safety.
10. BD Paulson (IPS:1998:UP), ADGP, Traffic and Road Safety, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Training.
11. Ramit Sharma (IPS:1999:UP), Police Commissioner, Prayagraj, has been shifted as ADGP, Bareilly Zone, Bareilly.
12. Tarun Gauba (IPS:2001:UP), IGP, Lucknow Range, has been transferred and posted as Police Commissioner, Prayagraj.
13. Prashant Kumar-II (IPS:2000:UP), IGP, EOW, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Lucknow Range.
14. Vidya Sagar Mishra (IPS-SPS), DCP, Noida, has been transferred and posted as SP, Rampur.
15. Rajesh Dwivedi (IPS-SPS), SP, Rampur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kumbh, Prayagraj
16. Yamuna Prasad (IPS:2012:UP), SP, Local Intelligence Bareilly, has been shifted as DCP, Noida.
