UP: Seven IAS officers shifted; Ramesh Ranjan posted as DM of Firozabad

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday (12.03.2024) implemented a noteworthy reshuffle in the state bureaucracy, involving the transfer of seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

1. Ujjwal Kumar (IAS:2012:UP), District Magistrate, Firozabad, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, MSME, with additional charge CEO, Khadi Village Industries.
2. Ramesh Ranjan (IAS:2013:UP), Special Secretary, Skill Development, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Firozabad.
3. Arun Prakash (IAS-SCS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, MSME, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Urban Development.
4. Eesha Priya (IAS:2016:UP), Additional Registrar, Cooperative, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Tourism.
5. Gaurav Verma (IAS:2014:UP), Special Secretary, Youth Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, SAD.
6. Shesh Nath (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Sugarcane, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, PWD.
7. Atal Rai (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, has been transferred and posted as Director, Panchayati Raj.
