S Hanumantha Rao, previously serving as Joint Registrar in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), has been designated as the Registrar, NCDRC. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, as per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), has granted approval for this appointment.
