Bihar: 10 IPS officers shifted

The Bihar government Wednesday (03.01.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IPS officers. Notably, some of these officers had recently received promotions, and this marks their first posting following the elevation.

The names of the officers and their postings are given below:

1. Sunil Kumar (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP, Security, Patna with additional charge of ADGP, Special Branch, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Special Branch, Patna.
2. Rakesh Rathi (IPS:2002:BH), IG, Central Range, Patna, has been transferred and posted as IG, Hqrs, Patna.
3. Vinay Kumar (IPS:2004:BH), IG, Hqrs, Patna, has been transferred and posted as IG, Security, Patna.
4. Shivdeep Wamanrao Lande (IPS:2006:BH), DIG, Koshi Range, has been promoted and posted as IG, Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur.
5. Garima Malik (IPS:2006:BH), DIG, CID, has been promoted and posted as IG, Central Range, Patna.
6. Vikas Barman (IPS:2008:BH), DIG, Administration, Patna, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Saran Range, Chapra.
7. Manoj Kumar (IPS:2008:BH), DIG, Security, Special Branch, Patna, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Koshi Range, Saharsa.
8. Vikas Kumar (IPS:2008:BH), DIG, Saran Range, Chapra, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Purnia Range, Purnia.
9. Babu Ram (IPS:2009:BH), DIG, Begusarai Range, Begusarai, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Mithila Range, Darbhanga.
10. Rashid Zaman (IAS:2010:BH), SP (G), Special Branch, has been promoted and posted as DIG, Begusarai Range, Begusarai.
